Happy & keeping it Green!
Because we lived in an all bills paid house for a long time, I hadn't needed electricity in my name since it was only HL&P. Obviously, felt a little overwhelmed at first with all the companies & rate plans. But saw Gexa, loved that energy sources are green & less than 10 minutes later was signed up. Love the weekly updates on usage - easy peasy to pay bill online - couldn't be happier. We have 3/2 with central a/c&h & window unit in garage to keep cool when working out there. I work from home - run at 72 - 76 & even with heat wave haven't had bill over $175 (been with Gexa 5 months). Only wish I could renew my 12-month plan but other than that . R. & J. Frustrating Customer Service Experience

Had a 1 year contract with them. It automatically rolled into a month to month plan that I am sure is somewhere in the terms of service, but their website does a very poor job of show casing that it will be doing that at the end of the contract. Thought I was done with their service since my contract was finished, but then got charged the next month.

All of their customer service lines are attempted to be automated as much as possible. You either go through an automated system, which is nice for simple tasks, or you talk to someone on chat or can wait for a call. Through chat or through the call, it feels like they just have a script and just repeat the same things over and over without actually wanting to hear and try to solve the problem you're addressing.

Most companies with good customer service can understand the situation and don't just try to bait their customers into paying something they are not intending to. Doesn't seem like that is how Gexa wants to operate. Feels slimy to not want to try and reconcile an unintended payment when someone isn't even living at a location.

Online system is broken

Customer account is HARD WIRED to a single physical account, so if move you are stuck -- their system can't accommodate this. Whoever "designed" their backend database did a horribly bad job of it.
