I am very new to Tomorrow Energy but it has been a smooth transition and my bill went down this month, so I am pleased so far!
I was looking at several listings till I found Tomorrow Energy. It was an easy path to changing from my former company to Tomorrow Energy. A great choice for price and ordering.
I found it easy to switch. I am always looking for a service that represents my best interest, this service does that for the agreed period.
I was easily able to find a power company offering a promotion for 50% off my current kwph rate for a year. I'll be using PA Energy Ratings again when this promotion ends.

After switching suppliers I found an immediate decrease in cost, one year contract to follow so I will see how it goes.
I was a little leery about picking the cheapest price for an energy company. Tomorrow energy had the best price by far. So far I havent had any problems with them, but I also havent tried to interact with them on my end. Very happy so far
Ok ,ok I get it! Some door to door sales ppl arent fully Qualified to do their job however those people give people like me a bad name.Iam a mid-aged ,white female.I be been knocking doors for 6yrs now.when I go to work,I try to keep in mind how the The person on the other side of the door must feel,thus,a single woman home alone with her kids obviously doesnt want some guy knocking at her door late at night or on a weekend asking when her husband will be back or if they can see utility bills within the first sentence of them speaking.There are a few different types of customers that I in counter on a day to day basis - people who are in a contract with another company that haveObviously signed up for one of the two (I guess you guys would call-scammer contracts )and thats a Contact that signs a customer up for a introductory rate on their utility bill ( I.e NRG offered inside ur neighborhood Wal-mart )or #2 a customer that signed up with a supplier that is charging them a lower rate price per kilowatt and then adding on top of that a flat rate commodity chargeand if you noticed the exact amount of the commodity charge that you signed up for is never stated at the bottom of your bill it simply says the words commodity chargeon the bill .(only on the original contract ,would it state the ant.(btw. 15-35$)that was sent to the customer ,in the very first week of them signing up ,if that sales person that signed them up even bother to mail it ) I.e Star energy,Choice energy,Verde energy.Most of the ppl that I speak to dont understand how to read their bill and thats why Im there to help I point out to them if they have a supplier ,just exactly how much theyre paying ,with that Supplier and how long they have left in their contract to be paying that price .Also, if I do not have a better deal for them I let them know and I am honest that in some cases our price per kilowatt might be higher than their current supplier but instead of harp on all the other bad suppliers and what theyre doing to everyone I try not to focus on that I just focus on what my company is doing and how I can help the person thats in front of me (such as being honest and calling them with a reminder when their contract is due to be up ) One of the deals / catches that u should be aware of with the Supplier companies including the one that I work for is that you have to keep up with when your contract will expire whether they sent you a notification in the mail to renew or not! it is your responsibility when signing up for a promo to keep track of when that promotion will be over. A lot of the other companies that I have come in contact with on other peoples bills dont ever inform most customers of all the small print ,at bottom of the contract when they signed up for it for . Thu, leaving the customer clueless when one month their contract ends and goes to a variable rate and they claim they never knew !(maybe they did maybe they didnt )so all you people on here saying that tomorrow Energy started you out at a certain number and then switch due to a variable rate and your bill went to 15.99 that would be a hint that your contract was up so that would be the day that you would pick up the phone and cancel that contract and you would be switched automatically back to your utility if you wanted to get another deal on your utility bills well hopefully ,youd run into me !! I am a very good at my job and even when someone does not want to sign up ,I leave with my head high and feel better that I have at least given them some food for thought, along with my number in case the change theyre mind down the line.So folks the bottom line is not to blame the door to door person every single time its also to maybe look at yourself and try to gather all of the facts before you sign up for something if you dont understand something or feel like youre being pushed into something or even being offered some sort of credit or gift to sign up for something the chances are , its a scam -meaning u will never getThe savings in the long run. But fortunately for guys ....THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT!!!!Your Friendly neighborhood gas and electric agent!
Electric bills were getting out of hand so after doing a bit of online searching I decided this electric provider was worth a shot. Couldnt be happier! Bill went down significantly and it all was quick and easy.
I am very pleased with the rate that tomorrow energy is able to give me. my monthly bill is significantly less than it was in the past.

They charged nearly triple the amount per MCF than our utility company. Our utility charged just under $2 while Tomorrow Energy charged over $6. The customer service was great any time I called, but the average person cannot accommodate their price point when living through cold, northeast winters. I was thoroughly pleased to have 100% renewable energy, but the pricing is honestly outrageous.

A door-to-door salesperson offered us to switch to Tomorrow Energy. After switching based on their claims of a cheaper rate, I immediately had to cancel the next day when I called my service provider and found out that they had lied about the rate I was currently paying. They claimed I was currently paying a rate that was higher than theirs, but in reality, their rate would have been more expensive! NOT trustworthy!
Per phone call - Was told tomorrow energy KillowattsperHour rate would be 8.99%, & my KWH is14cents per hour; On opposite (of side he used to figure KWH) side of my bill KWH from current supplier is listed, which is 5.29 cents. Obviously was a no sell.
We switched to them when their name was Sperian Energy. We called when our fixed contract was running out and they assured us they would fall off the bill, instead they switched their company name to Tomorrow Energy and started giving us a variable rate they eventually shot our bill up slowly to over $530.00. We were paying over double the rate we should have been and have lost several thousand in excessive non-market based overcharges. Both Sperian and Tomorrow Energy are scamming good people of a lot of their hard earned money for a service that is a basic need not a want. If you have been taken advantage of too, fail a complaint with your or their Consumer Affairs Division. This stuff won't stop if we don't do something.
Absolutely a scam. At 7pm on a Sunday, I get a knock on the door from a woman working for Tomorrow Energy. She states that due to First Energy charging customers incorrectly for solar panel charges and other hidden fees, that she may actually be able to lower my bill. She asks to see my electric bill and rattles off some random number- "yeah, you're paying 10 cents per kWh and I can actually get you to about 8 cents". I ask how that's possible and she just states because I would be buying directly from the supplier. She does the same thing for my gas bill. Next thing I know, I'm signed up on some contract and I'm being handed a phone and told that I'm going to be asked a few questions to finish the process. She says "listen, they are going to ask if I have left the premises. Please just say yes. I'm just saying this because I know a lot of people have had questions for me after the phone call and I don't want you to have to chase me down or me not be available to you". Thinking nothing of it (stupidly I know), I finish this phone call and opt to have some contract sent to me via email. I thank this woman for her help saving me money and she leaves. However, as soon as she leaves I start to think it was strange....on a Sunday at 7pm I've never been contacted by any reputable business. I decide to take a look at the contract I was sent and compare the numbers to my actual bill. I see that the woman made up a random number to offer me a "lower" rate, when it was actually raising my rate by 3%. I called immediately the next morning and canceled the enrollment and called each of my utilities to tell them not to switch me over. If you want to push a product fine, but this company needs to employ people who don't shake your hand and lie directly to your face so that they can get a commission. Cost of living is high and some people are scraping pennies to make ends meet. To walk into someones house claiming to help save them money, when you are just putting them into a worse financial situation than before is truly disgusting. To sum this up, educate yourself on your utility costs, so that when these people come knocking on your door you won't be fooled like I was. The only consolation I have is that I didn't wait till I got the bill to start investigating.
I don't normally answer my door or my phone for these guys, but this one caught me (and others) by stalking our neighborhood and grabbing us when we were outside and vulnerable. As soon as he left, I realized he had told me lies and half truths. I called the electric company and am back with my original supplier, fortunately, because I acted quickly, it didn't cost me anything but a lot of grief.
Changed name to Tomorrow Energy to escape the association with allegations / lawsuits. Do a search on Sperian and you will see the alleged deceptive practices. My experiences let me conclude that this is not a reputable company. They do not practice what they preach in regard to customer service / satisfaction.
Door to door salesman lied about his rates being lower. Need to cancel in the morning. Salesman's name was Jonathan Morales.
I had just come home from surgery and somebody came to my door and me not fully understanding because I was on pain meds I ended up signing up because they said it was cheaper and it was by no means at all cheaper my bills are a lot more and I seem not to be able to cancel without a termination fee on both my electric and my gas bill I feel that they prey on people..i have callex 2 times now and all i get is u will be charged 2 termination fees..
Got a call from a guy named Shaun Anderson and said he was from Tomorrow Energy...First of all a India man named Shaun Anderson? So I went on listening and he told me I was paying a commercial rate on electric and my utility company supplier was selling me electric at a commercial rate...and then stated it was against the law. So he cleverly made me change and sign up for his company at an outrageous 6.71mcf then he had me change my gas supplier at 8.99 fixed rate. Let me tell you this guy named Shaun Anderson is highly skilled and very persuasive...THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM TO GET YOUR $$$$$$...Now I gotta call my electric and gas supplier to have them stop this...Also if he gives you the number 1.888.680.8080 which i called back right after I talked to this guy and it was a beauty salon in Texas somewhere?...DON'T LET THEM GET YOU!!!!!!!!

So got a call to my door(HE couldn't figure how to open my gate Ha,Ha). First thing I say is who are you? What do you want? And I am not buying anything. He says he is not selling anything and he is here to review my power bill. I am like who are you with. I am not changing companies, Man introduces himself as being WITH FIRST ENERGY . Claims a letter was sent out about my rates being lowered. Really I never got one. He replies a lot of people didn't. So I continue to be wary I tell him he stays at the gate. Says he is not allowed entry anyway. I reiterate.You are with First Energy? Oh,yes he went on how we own all the gas and electric . (West Penn )my provider just distributes it .At least three times he claims to be with First Energy. So he wants to go over my electric bill . I get it for him. I figure wasn't really anything on there he could steal . I.D wise.He sits down in a chair at the gate. Says oh, I should write down my license number and other credentials. I replied yes. I will need them. He did have one of those I.D cards on but heck those can be forged. I am still not totally not trusting this guy yet. Here is where it gets funny. While he is writing. I says Yeah I don't trust anyone one,anything too many scammers out there. He immediately stands up and says well I can see I am not going to get anywhere with you. Hands my bill back to me and says if you want to speak to me call the number on the bill he just handed back. That is odd there on the first line is TOMORROW ENERGY with an 800 number in Texas.
And I immediately start checking on this company to find this guy indeed lied to me about who he was affiliated. Love it when I catch liars !
they call me with story that they going to save me money and they are a supplier of choice from my utility company, i told them to hold on that i am going to put them on the three way with my utility company just to make sure they are the supplier of choice with them, they quickly hang up. people that runs company like this should be put in jail and throw away the keys.
The salespeople for Tomorrow Energy harassed me over the phone trying to strong-arm me to switch to their company. They would not take no for an answer and kept harassing me until I had to hang up on them. I would never use this company based on this one experience with them.
They told me my bill would be cheaper, got my first bill its 2x higher then last August and I used 3/4 the electricity this month... Total scam , door to door Liars, if they come to your house Don't let them in they are crooked.
So it was a while ago a door to door person came to my house I answered the door and told him bows not a good time. He said it only takes a few minutes, I said no Im really not interested and he left. So a few months later I get a $700 bill from my electric company Im like how?!?! So I call them and they said on September 30th I switched to Tomorrow energy. Im so confused I never talked to anyone I turned that guy away he never saw my original bill or account info nothing! How did they do this?! I need to contact a lawyer! This is scary and crazy Im beyond mad!
After my contract was done they stated they sent two letters informing us of that fact. We never received them. Then our next bill came in at a whopping .1599 per kilowatt when it had been .063. I called and the only thing they would do was if I signed another 1 year contract at .088 they would take my last bill back to the .063. Why would I sign an entire year at .025 more than whats available now. They win either way. I warned them so now I'm warning you. Stay away from Tomorrow Energy at all costs!! They are scammers and unethical in every respect. PP&L should take them off their preferred energy list so no one else falls into this trap.
6:15 in the evening, I was sitting in my back yard, with my Rottie, and this kid start calling to me from the front. He told me he was there to remove a First Energy charge from my bill. He also told me to lie to the verification person on the phone, and say he left, when he didn't. I did not. I told her "He's leaving right now", then went out back, thinking left. The verification person asked if I was aware that I was switching electric companies. I told her no, I was not doing that. She told me she needed to end the phone call. FIVE MINUTES LATER, my dog let's me know someone was in my side yard. It's this lurking little stalker "Did you do the verification?" I explained to him that he was a liar and deceitful, so no. Instead of leaving, he stayed to argue with me. Idk how long he thought he would stay, but my 6'1", 235 lb, solid husband pulled in the driveway and walked up. He didn't say a word, just stood there and watched us argue, because he knows I can handle myself. I think the fact that my husband didn't intervene scared this skinny, 5'6" kid more than anything, because then he left. I have been trying to call the company back, but it's always busy (shocker).
Came to my door when my daughter was home alone. Scared her because he said we were over charged on our last bill by Duquesne light. Also said he was from Duquesne light. Thankfully, she told him to hit the road and didnt show him anything. Unreal selling practices.
They call me from spoofed numbers to try to scam me to change my provider. Just like Liberty Power. I have asked repeatedly to be removed from their call list to no avail.
Watch out for this company!! I checked the PA rate website and it showed the rate offered by Tomorrow Energy to be $ .0579 per Kwh. I called the number and talked to a representative. He told me that the published rate was correct provided that I was a new customer; which I am. When I went to the website to enroll, the rate was $ .0738 per Kwh. I called back to the company ant the rep this time told me the rate was correct at $ .0738. So their bait and switch game is to hope people sign up hoping to get the lower rate sometime in the future with their initial billing.
Said they sent us letters to renew our contract may or may not have. Either way took out bill from 0.07something to 0.16999 more the doubling our entire bill
Company increased pricing by 80%1st month after contract expired and by 90% the second month. i switched back to original provider as soon as i received 1st bill, however switch does not become effective for 2 more billing cycles. Avoid company at all costs.
Disgraceful. They lied. And took advantage. Disgusting. My bill doubles. Now pay 400$ a month for energy. It will b worth it to cancel.
Someone came to my door and after looking at my new bill promised me my new bill would be significantly lower. I changed my provider and then saw my bill skyrocket to more than I have ever paid in my life with less usage. I have already switched providers again to something much better. He also told me that there would be no early termination fee but I am sure that will turn out to be a lie also. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!
A salesperson showed up at my door offering to save me money on my energy bills by switching providers. Normally I would know better, but Id recently moved to Ohio and hadnt looked into selecting a provider besides my energy company so I though Id hear them out.
I pulled up my energy bill on my phone and they showed me what would be changing and how Id be saving money. It sounded legit and they said they just needed my phone number so the office would call and go over everything and confirm. After that things took a bad turn. The salesperson told me they had all my information and that there were more salespeople in my apartment building. They told me when the office called I needed to lie to them and say they had left the premises. I was also to lie about receiving terms of the contract and the salespersons business card. They again reminded me that more people were in my building and I began to feel incredibly intimidated and trapped. At this point I was panicking that it might not even be a real company and they were intending to break into my apartment or something worse, so I complied and answered the phone call from their office and gave the lies they wanted me to while they stood at my door and listened. The woman on the phone quickly went over the rates which were nothing like what the salesperson told me and I again just complied and gave my verbal agreement. Everyone finally left and I was relieved that I was safe.
I have been unable to reach anyone at Tomorrow Energy and am disgusted that a company that uses intimidation and coercion to trap customers is allowed to do business. These people should be prosecuted.
We signed up last year and didnt see much of a difference and then this year our bill doubled!!!! I have never paid so much on my gas bill and it is warm this year! Looking at my bill we did the same last year and we are paying more. Cancelled it right away!
Tomorrow shows up to your house conveniently in October and convinces you their fixed rates will save you money in the long run. Wrong, if you look back at the rates, my rate was double the entire time. I say conveniently in October because obviously the rate kicks in at the start of winter and you get stuck in the rate for the few cycles before you realize. Avoid getting gas with this company.
Terrible experience! A man and "superpervisor" show up on my door claiming that the utility company does this once a year to lower the gas prices. Claims that neighbors have all been complaining about bills being too high so this will allow gas to come through Pa. Instead of Ohio. I read all of the reviews and cancelled the next day. Thought all was well. Got a bill 3 months later for Tomorrow Energy. I called customer service. Not friendly at all, who claimed it takes two bill cycles. I clarified that even though I cancelled the very next morning the service didn't start until 2 months later and did not get cancelled until a month after that and she said "yes out of their control". They charged me 3 times as much as my regular gas company! Ridiculous. I was not even with this company for one day but got charged for a months service at 3x's more than my regular company!! Lesson learned! Do not open door to these people!
Random door knockers showed up and promised rates that werent close to delivered. Sent notice of actual rates after penalty free cancellation period ended. Passed the buck up to Illuminating Company to resolve the fraud. Get your rate promise in writing if you wanna give them a shot.
I was promised by a door to door salesman that my rates would be lower if I switched my supplier so I switched. What a swindle; my rates have doubled! They told me it was because my usage had gone way up. I'm a creature of habit so nothing in my usage has changed. I'm on a fixed income & I'm stuck in this contract with no idea how I'm going to pay my bill. Lesson learned; do your homework & research!
Rate changed to double the PPL rate after introductory period. No notice via mail, email, or phone. Refuse to refund the difference, even to keep me as a customer. STAY AWAY!
I had a fixed rate with them and when it ended they doubled my rate. No notification about them doing this. My bill went to$800. In January. I see now why they won't notify you when the rate will chsnge
Please do not register with Tomorrow Energy. Whatever they tell is not right. Once you get registered, you will be paying 3 to 4 times more than what you usually pay for electric and gas. I got confirmation from Utility company that there is no need to add third party like Tomorrow Energy to get service.
But, Tomorrow Energy will start the conversation saying as per NJ Law, we can't get service from Utility company directly which is a big LIE. I am starting legal proceedings on what i paid since last one year!
