Hard to reach anyone at this company, which is never a good sign.
But, then, after the "introductory rate," price per kwh TRIPLED!
That new rate was DOUBLE what I was paying before.
Cannot say anything good about Inspire Energy. ”

“ For 5 months, I've been on the phone with national grid for billing errors. I've been told that I will be rebilled every 7 to 14 business days for overestimates for 5 months. I've been told by techs and by customer service reps that the bills are inaccurate. Today I talked to Ted. He told me the bills are 100% accurate, that the information was relayed via smart meter. I don't have a smart meter. He then told me that the information was based on past readings. I bought the house this year and the past readings were for people who used electricity FAR more than my family does. He finished by saying, "There is nothing I can do. You were told misinformation for 5 months and now owe nearly $600. I do want to warn you, if you don't pay, your credit will take a hit." National Grid will string you along, take your bill up as high as they can, and then punish you for their ineptitude. ”
