Big business doesnt care
An O&R employee showed up at my house , wanting to switch my meter to a Smart Meter . I hadnt ordered one and could care less about it . I explained that the tree that was in front of the meter ( A very old Dwarf Japanese Maple ) was worth a lot of money and I didnt want anyone going through it if they were going to damage it .... ( the Dish Network clown broke many branches off trying to shove an 8 ft ladder around it , when he could have reached the wires standing on his toes ) The O&R installer said he would not attempt to go behind the tree . Fast forward , I come home and see an O&R tag on my door that the meter has been changed and there are broken branches strewn all over my front yard . I call to file a complaint and am told they are very sorry and a supervisor will call me back ... nobody has called . Do they think its ok to come to my house and destroy my property so they can install some new meter , that Im sure only adds to their bottom line ?! You are just as bad as the rioters ! No regard for other peoples property ! |

The Worst!!! If there is precipitation in the forecast, your done kid!!
I've had to use this company for years, power goes out with any rain, snow, sleet, hail, even low to moderate wind gusts. Its constant, never-ending nightmare. they are so bad it weighed into my decision when purchasing a new home. When I learned they were the utility provider it was a deal breaker. I chose a location where there was a different provider available. |

Worst customer service ever
Have been without power for six days. Called o and r the lady on the phone was very unprofessional kept arguing with me that the electrian needs to check home first. I explained to her several times that he did and that was told to contact o and r to fix the problems. Needless to say the lady acted like if she was the electrician and that I was wrong and that had to contact the landlord and electrician. I did landlord sent out another electrician who came and said the same this no power to meter o and r has to come and do their job and fix the problem. Contacted o and r came two guys came both with attitude havent even seen the meter issue yet. Went to basement fixed the issue. The one of the guys threw some light thing in my hand and said give this to your electrician because he dont know what hes doing then ran out. I swear this was the worst customer service I have ever experienced and I will not forget it. You suck orange and Rockland not a satisfied customer. You get a big 0 from me. |
